🔐 Encryption Guidance¶
- Encryption enabled by default
- Keys shared locally or in-person
- Do not publish keys publicly
- Emergency services may request plaintext summaries outside the mesh
⚠️ Channel Discipline¶
- Emergency channel: no casual chat
- Test channel: disable when not in use
- Ops channel: coordination only
🧪 Experimental Channels¶
MeshCore or experimental routing should: - Use non-default channels - Be clearly labeled - Avoid interference with production traffic
