A quiet network is a healthy network.
📡 Airtime Is Limited¶
- LoRa is slow by design
- Every transmission affects others
- More power ≠ better network
Use the minimum required settings.
🧭 Identification & Clarity¶
- Use clear node names
- Avoid impersonation
- Keep messages readable and relevant
🔒 Privacy Reminder¶
- Assume messages are public
- Do not share:
- Medical details
- Exact addresses
- Sensitive personal data
🆘 During Emergencies¶
- Keep messages factual
- Avoid speculation
- Yield airtime to priority traffic
- Follow guidance from coordinating groups
🤝 Be a Good Neighbor¶
- Welcome new nodes
- Help troubleshoot when possible
- Respect differing skill levels
